OKF is committed to seeing transformation in the lives of people living in our rural communities. We have therefore committed ourselves to investing a lot of resources into regular outreaches to deprived communities.
As part of our outreaches to rural communities, we hold community durbars to share the good news and encourage young people to go to school and observe healthy lifestyles.
We freely distribute clothing, food items such as rice and oil, books and stationary such as chalks, pencils, pens and other educational materials to help raise the quality of education in these deprived communities.
We have a team of volunteers and health personnel who screen the rural folks and offer free treatment of minor ailments. Serious medical cases are referred to major health centers in the region.
Since 2011, the OKF outreach programme has covered more than 12 communities and villages in the Central and Eastern Regions of Ghana and we are working to reach a lot more.
With the support of our partners, we are seeing thousands of rural folks giving their lives to Christ, receiving hope of a better tomorrow and receiving financial and material gifts to meet their immediate needs.
